I'm Ali Tahseen, founder of morethancoder and the person behind every line of code, pixel, and user experience we create. I work independently as a full-stack developer and designer, building digital solutions for clients worldwide.

My approach is simple: think deeply, build intentionally, and solve real problems. I don't follow trends — I focus on creating software that works, interfaces that feel intuitive, and experiences that matter to the people who use them.

Background

How I Got Here

I started with a civil engineering degree, but a single programming class changed everything. What began as curiosity about turning logic into code evolved into a passion for building complete digital experiences — from initial concept to final deployment.

My design background comes from childhood sketching that naturally progressed into interface design. This combination of visual thinking and technical execution allows me to bridge the gap between what something should look like and how it actually works.

What I Do

I work remotely with clients to build:

Web applications — Full-stack development from database to user interface
User interfaces — Design systems that feel natural and work efficiently
CLI tools — Command-line utilities that solve specific workflow problems
Platform integrations — Connecting different systems to work together seamlessly

How I Work

I maintain physical fitness to support mental clarity — regular exercise isn't just personal maintenance, it's professional development. I bike for both transportation and thinking time, finding that movement often unlocks solutions to complex technical problems.

I work independently and remotely, which gives me the flexibility to take on projects that genuinely interest me and deliver my best work regardless of timezone or location.

Beyond Code

I find balance working with animals — horses teach patience, dogs provide companionship, and birds remind me that complex systems can still maintain elegance and freedom.

I believe in using technology as a tool for service, whether that's solving business problems, improving user experiences, or building platforms that help others accomplish their goals.
