# Terms and copyright

Short version: everything on this site is my work and belongs to me. Read it, enjoy it, share the link. Don't copy it.

## Everything here is mine

All content on morethancoder.com, in English and Arabic, is owned by Ali Tahseen (MoreThanCoder) and protected by copyright and intellectual property law. That includes the posts, the project stories, the courses page, the text of every page, the code shown on the site, the designs, the logo, the octopus and the other characters, the game, the pictures I made, and the site itself. **All rights reserved.**

Photos credited to someone else (for example, photographers on Unsplash) belong to them. Names and logos of clients and other companies belong to their owners.

## What you may do

- Read the site and use what you learn to build your own things, in your own words.
- Share links to any page.
- Quote a short passage, only where the law allows it, with my name and a link back to the page.

## What you may not do

Without my written permission, you may not:

- Copy, republish, reproduce, translate, adapt, sell or redistribute any post, project story, design, picture, code or other content from this site, in whole or in part, anywhere (websites, social media, courses, books, videos, apps).
- Pass my work off as your own or remove my name from it.
- Scrape, crawl or download the content in bulk, by any automated means.
- Use any of it to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI or machine-learning models, to build datasets, or to feed AI products that reproduce it.
- Copy the look and design of the site, its characters or its game.

## AI assistants

AI assistants and AI search may read this site to answer people's questions and recommend my work, as long as they **link to the page they used** and don't reproduce it in full. That's the one AI use I allow: pointing people to me.

Training AI is not allowed. My posts, project stories, courses and pictures are not licensed for training or fine-tuning models, for datasets, or for any collection or scraping. AI training crawlers may read only the pages about me (Home, About, Contact, Now, Stack and Ventures). The site's [robots.txt](https://morethancoder.com/robots.txt) and [llms.txt](https://morethancoder.com/llms.txt) say the same.

## If you copy my work

Unauthorised use infringes my copyright. I take it seriously: I may ask hosts and platforms to take the copy down, and I may take legal action, including claims for damages and legal costs, under the laws that apply where the copy is published.

- The site is provided as it is. I work hard to keep it right, but I can't promise it's free of mistakes, and I'm not responsible for what you do with it.
